The Great Migration Special safari takes you to Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater to enjoy the views followed by Tarangire National Park where you will see a fantastic wildlife on the savannah plains.

Itineraries

Day 1

WELCOME TO SERENGETI PLAINS

You will be met by our partners at Arusha and transferred to Serengeti national park. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch. Later on, head out for an introductory game drive at the park. Dinner and overnight at Shuhudia tented camp.

Day 2

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK GAME DRIVES

After breakfast, you will leave the camp for a full day game drive. Serengeti and Masai mara are similar parks with similar wildlife, the only difference is that Serengeti is much bigger than Masai mara. Dinner and overnight Shuhudia tented camp.

Day 3

SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER

Leave Serengeti with an enroute game drive and head to Ngorongoro crater. This amazing sunken ground hosts the big 5 among other animals. Dinner and overnight Aileen’s camp.

Day 4

NGORONGORO – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Prepare to leave Karatu area for a game drive at Tarangire national parpk which is famous for its rich birding experience. Dinner and overnight Roika tented camp.

Day 5

TARANGIRE NP TO ARUSHA

You will leave Tarangire area for Arusha for a flight back home. Alternatively, you can be transferred to Nairobi via shuttle bus to catch a flight from Nairobi.

  1. Please note that complimentary drinking water is not serviced during meals in Kenya. This has to be purchased from the bar
  2. The hotels offer two bottles of drinking water in the rooms on complimentary basis
  3. This Safari is conducted in a Land cruiser with 7 window seats maximum.
  4. Our vehicles are not air conditioned as they have open tops.
  5. Please note that Indian citizens require a Yellow Fever Vaccination and Polio Booster Drops which must be certified in your Vaccination card.
  6. Please note that due to dusty conditions on Safari, the vehicles are not air-conditioned. The vehicles are fitted with extra shock absorbers due to road and off road conditions. They also have mobile phone and camera charging adapters, bean bags, cool boxes and a Safari Library.
  7. Wildlife safaris are a matter of luck and opportunity. No guarantee of any sighting is made. Neither of our associates will quote that, although we try our best to spot and show you as much as nature allows us to.
  8. Never enter the forest with an intention of spotting a single species, it will only disappoint you. The forest is a gift packet with a lot to surprise with. Listen to our naturalist for more wonderful experience.
  9. Our safaris are not target species specific (Unless specified)
  10. We explore everything we find uncommon and need to be explained.
  11. Any demand for spotting a single species in any jeep will not be entertained by the guide or the tour leader as there are other travellers who would want to see the birds etc.
  12. Respect & honour everything that is in the forest and it has to offer you.
  13. Enjoy being in the forest and you will feel much happier away from the concrete chaos.
  14. Respect the local, tribes, guards, guides, drivers, officers and all animals.
  15. Front seat of the Gypsy is always reserved for the Guide or Guard.
  16. No extra room will be made for photographers, respecting other travellers. (For photographers it is recommended to opt for higher options)
  17. No littering in the forest strictly. (what goes comes back the same way)
  18. Camera fees & guide tips to be paid separately & directly.
  19. Kindly follow the instructions given by the tour leader and the guide for your own safety.

Clothing and Footwear

  2. A Hooded Fleece
  3. Cap or Hat
  4. Long trousers for the evening
  5. Comfortable shoes or boots for walking and a pair of flip flops
  6. Swimming suits
  7. Jacket or wind cheater for early morning and evenings
  8. Please pack soft bags.

Please note that internal flights only allow 15 kgs of maximum baggage. Extra weight will have to be paid for directly by yourself
